Shapes Math Station Freebie!

While cruisin' Pinterest, I saw the idea for this activity here:
http://topteacher.com.au/maths/roll-shape and decided to tweak it to make it fit for me- and you, hopefully!

I thought this would be G.R.E.A.T. for those first few weeks of school while you are teaching, teaching, teaching procedures. Use crayons before teaching the 'click trick' for markers, if you like.
OR try these:

I love this activity for getting kids to work together in those early days, get some fine motor work in, and get started on those shapes! This can be used all year long or brought back for those who need the reminder.

The flow goes along with Frog Street Press' Sing and Read Shapes Series and I made the tracing lines gray as a wink and a nod to Handwriting Without Tears (dots are not seen as lines). I love using the Sing & Read Shapes Songs, Books, and Posters to teach shapes to my little ones.

I hope you like them as much as I do!
